It could also be because of P1 a and b since the users talk about random subjects, it's easy to get caught up and talk away on one (or two, or three, or four, or five, or six, or seven…I don’t really need to pull out such a lame joke like this, do I?) subject(s) that interest you. This relies more on your knowledge of your friend(s), and whether you know he/she/they talk a lot. Whenever I join chat rooms, I end up looking at a little of my anime (or none at all). The chat box is just too dang big to fit on the screen! Or maybe staying fullscreen isn't a problem. You have an outside chatting box (such as Skype), and try to put it on the fullscreened anime, but it jumps out of fullscreen, no matter what other ways you try. When I use outside chatting programs, it doesn’t work out too well. It's not like I'm ungrateful to the anime sites that have this feature (in fact I have done a couple of replies on it) but it's not very helpful for actual livestreaming with people. You want to chat during the show, not after. There is a private chat for individual anime, but it's at the bottom of the screen! What good is that? These chat boxes (powered by chantago) are mainly on any anime site, but if you don't know what they are, I'll give you an example. I probably don't need to tell you this, but that chat box is for the public - any user anywhere on the site can talk on there.
#ANIME STREAM SITES WITH CHAT ROOMS FULL#
(b) The chat box is full of people I don't know that talk about random stuff at top speed, so me and my friend(s) will basically be trying to talk to each another in an extremely crowded area. (a) The anime site I go to has a chat box, but disappears when I go fullscreen. (If you could care less about such things, just skip to the Solutions section below.) By using this system, it’s entirely easy for you and your friend(s) to look at anime and chat non-verbally or verbally.īut before I get into explaining that, I’m going to touch on the main problems of this very thing, that could very well be some (or all) of the reasons you have abandoned the very idea of chatting with others while watching anime.

I wrestled with this problem also, until I came upon a program called Steam.

According from what I’ve seen around the internet, it's frustrating for most people to look at their favorite anime shows/movies while chatting with their friend(s).
